Melissa Hawes is President (founder) of Miles Financial Management, Inc.
Melissa has over 15 years of public accounting and private industry experience. Her expertise is in accounting operations, growth policies and procedures, and government compliance. She is a frequent guest speaker for several entrepreneurial education programs of the Kutztown University Small Business Development Center.
She is certified in PA and NY and served on the IRS Information Reporting Program Advisory Committee in Washington D.C. in 1997.
She serves as treasurer of Chester County Women and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Exton Chamber of Commerce, and ewomen. Melissa also maintains accreditation as a Quickbooks instructor.
Melissa is a mother, and she believes in supporting other women with families. During tax time Melissa hires qualified female accountants to perform tax services on flexible schedules.
